Seven Swords of the Mist [Original Weapons Pt 1] (w.i.p)
Weapon Name: Kubikiribōchō (首斬り包丁; Literally meaning "Decapitating Carving Knife")
History:
Type: Sword
User: N/A
Appearance: The Kubikiribocho is a massive broadsword shaped like a giant butcher knife. It has a circle cut out of the top and the semicircle near the handle, which, as demonstrated by Suigetsu Hōzuki, seem to fit the sword's purpose of decapitation aptly, and gives something to wrap a back strap around. Its handle is detachable: Suigetsu was shown screwing it off before traveling and reattaching it for combat. Suigetsu, despite being well-trained, noted that the heaviness of the blade could tire him out easily; a problem Zabuza Momochi didn't have.
Material: Unknown metal.
Special Effects: Like every other weapon used by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, the sword possesses an unique power, this being its ability to reform itself using the iron harvested from its victims' blood. This regenerative process takes place almost instantly, and is capable of bringing the weapon back to its original perfect condition no matter how severe the damage is, from a simple chip or a nick to a completely missing half of the blade.
Side Effects: The user may not be able to wield the blade if they do not have the proper physical strength.
------
Weapon Name: Nuibari (縫い針; Literally meaning "Sewing Needle")
History:
Type: Sword
User: Kushimaru
Appearance: It's a longsword that greatly resembles a large needle, with a long length of thin wire that resembles thread tied to the eye.
Material: The sword is made of an adamant material; currently unknown.
Special Effects: This sword is said to possess the ability pierce all and stitch them together. It is shown to be able to pierce multiple targets at once and literally stitches them together in bundles. The user can also throw the sword to pierce a line of enemies, then catch the needle at the other side, and then repeat at different angles to create knots of corpses with the wire passing through them; effectively creating bundles of bodies at different points in the wire.
Side Effects: If the user doesn't know how to handle the sword, they will be impaled when trying to use it's sewing ability and can die.
------
Weapon Name: Samehada (鮫肌; Literally meaning "Shark Skin")
History:
Type: Sword
User: Yajusame
Appearance: At the tip of Samehada's handle is a small skull. Its actual blade is covered in scales, which causes it to inflict shredding or shaving damage rather than cutting what it comes into contact with. The effect is similar to a shark's skin, hence its name. While it ordinarily remains rigid, Samehada is able to stretch and bend to a great extent, allowing it to be used like a flail. Samehada grows larger from the chakra it absorbs, its scales becoming longer and its mouth, located at the tip of the blade, becoming more pronounced. Keeping Samehada wrapped in bandages apparently inhibits this growth.
Material: It is unknown what this sword is truly made of, however, many believe that the sword itself was made of the scales of a Shark that had been cursed by the powers of a Kirigakure shaman after it had eaten his child.
Special Effects: Samehada is unique for being a sentient weapon that gains nourishment from the chakra of others. It is happiest when engorged with chakra. Although it constantly feeds off of the chakra of its owner, its largest "meals" come from fights wherein it absorbs the chakra of its owner's opponents. Such an ability allows Samehada to literally slice through an opponent's jutsu and even prevent jutsu from being performed by absorbing all of the opponent's chakra. This is particularly useful when fighting jinchūriki, as Samehada can quickly deplete their large chakra supplies as well as remove their chakra cloaks. Samehada has the ability to transfer the chakra it has absorbed to the wielder by partially fusing with its wielder, so it can be used to either heal the wielder's injuries or replenish their chakra reserves.
Side Effects: The Samehada drains the user's chakra. It can also disobey the user if it thinks that they are too pushy. At some points the Samehada may attack it's users when angered.
------
Weapon Name: Kiba (牙; Literally meaning "Fangs")
History:
Type: Swords
User: Roushido
Appearance: The Kiba are a set of twin pike-like swords that have the normal center blade and then two blades branching out of the main blade. The metal of the swords are dark gray in color and the hilts are made of a black colored silk material.
Material: The swords are both made of an adamant material and can be imbued with lightning chakra to make the metal even stronger. They say that these swords can cut through anything.
Special Effects: They have been imbued with lightning, displaying enhanced cutting power in a manner similar to the high-frequency vibrations of lightning-based chakra flow. The swords can channel Lightning Release techniques and conduct natural lightning. The swords could also be connected at the hilts to form a larger double-bladed sword.
Side Effects: Overuse of the sword's techniques may shock the user and can even kill them if they do not have the right chakra, Lightning chakra.
